Singer and accordionist Talia was a hit with the audience in a performance at High Easter Village Hall.

Talia travelled from North London for the 'showtime' event earlier this month, and had the audience singing and dancing along to her electric accordion.

During the break Talia chatted with the audience, and also drew the 50/50 prize draw - for which £86 was collected so £43 was given to the winner.

Organiser Brian Hockley said: "Talia kindly pulled the winning ticket out which was her own ticket and she quickly put the ticket back with much laughter.

"Over the last 50 years I have organised a lot of entertainers to come to High Easter Village Hall and I can honestly say Talia is simply the best,"
