The organisers of Great Dunmow Christmas Bazaar have thanked those who attended and helped raise £4,000 for the upkeep of parish churches.

The event took place at the Catholic church hall on Saturday, December 2, and was officially opened by Mayor Cllr Alex Armstrong.

There were also raffles and games, and Father Christmas and his elf gave gifts to children.

Refreshments included bacon rolls, sausage rolls and hot drinks.

The event raised just over £4,000 for the upkeep of the parish buildings of Our Lady and St Anne Line and its sister church in Hatfield Broad Oak.
