Three people have been arrested in connection with a serious assault in Great Dunmow.

A man in his 30s sustained a bleed on the brain, a fractured nose and fractures to his jaw following an incident in The Boars Head in the High Street.

The alleged assault took place at around 8.20pm on April 30.

Three men - a 26-year-old and 29-year-old from Little Dunmow and a 31-year-old from Dunmow - have been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent.

They have since been released on bail until July 28.
