After a world premiere at The Lowry, Salford, and a sold-out run at the Edinburgh Festival, the play opens at The Other Palace in Victoria on April 4.

Recreating suburban England in the 1960s, Nigel’s childhood is told through the tastes and smells he grew up with, to reflect this, audiences will be offered samples of the dishes central to his story during the show.

The memoir won six major awards. It has been translated into five languages and became a television play and film.
