The acclaimed dance company Boy Blue is at Saffron Hall on March 8 with their show Project Rebel.
The acclaimed dance company Boy Blue will be at Saffron Hall on Friday, March 8 with their show Project Rebel.
This is hip hop with the themes of revolution and liberty. It explores social tensions and cultural identity in 21st century Britain.
The show also includes a performance from students at Saffron Walden County High.
Founded in London in 2001, Boy Blue, is award-winning brainchild of producer Michael ‘Mikey J’ Asante and choreographer Kenrick ‘H2O’ Sandy MBE. Their dance Pied Piper, performed at the Theatre Royal Stratford and then the Barbican, won an Olivier Award. Other pieces have also been nominated for Olivier Awards and Critics Circle National Dance Awards.
