On Thursday’s session, X-Factor winner Matt Cardle and Alistair McMillian wowed crowds when the two took to the Great Bardfield venue’s stage.

High Barn spokesperson, Wendy Meldrum, said: “It was so lovely to see Matt and Ali back on the High Barn stage - it was like time had stood still! Despite all the media attention and crazy whirl of publicity, Matt remains a charming, totally grounded guy, this comes as no surprise to any of those who have worked or know him.

All those who voted for Matt to win the XFactor show, can be proud of themselves for promoting true talented musicianship in a business that can often revel in the superficial. Watch out for Matt’s album later in the year, it will not disappoint!”

High Barn have an acoustic session every second Thursday of the month. To keep updated with all the events at High Barn visit www.high-barn.com or call 01371 811291 and join the High Barn mailing list.
