This show, called Kieran Hodgeson ‘75, is his Edinburgh Fringe show. On a deeply personal quest for understanding, Kieran perfects a series of impressions and discovers that the 1970s were about more than just TISWAS (a Saturday morning children’s show with performers including Chris Tarrant and Lenny Henry), the colour brown and the words “let’s go on strike again”.

He says the decade also included passion, betrayal and Harold Wilson - and the surprising tale of how Britain joined Europe in the first place.

Telegraph reviewer Mark Monaghan assures us: “If all this has a worrying ring of earnestness about it, don’t be fooled: Hodgson is an expert at wringing comedy from the unlikeliest of subjects.”
