A stable manager and former riding instructor from Little Easton fulfilled her “life long ambition” of competing in one of the most prestigious sporting events in Britain, whilst riding a Dutch stallion called Zoe.
A multi-coloured greenhouse made from more than 1,000 discarded plastic bottles donated by Dunmow school children, clubs and businesses will be officially opened on Friday.
Money raised from the Great Dunmow Town Carnival will go towards Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) in memory of school pupil Elliot Peters, who was treated at the hospital, as well as two other local charities.
