‘LOCAL Artists’ is the theme behind the Flitch Gallery’s next exhibition.
The high street venue’s regular artists, as well as a few new on the block, will form part of the 90 original paintings on show. The work featured covers a wide variety of subject matters and differing media.
The exhibition runs until August 21.
Gallery manager Peter Hall said: “The pictures are spread over three rooms to represent our best ever response.”
The gallery is also set to change its name to The Dunmow Art Gallery in a bid to make it more internet friendly. The new website address will be dunmowartgallery.co.uk
The gallery is fully booked for 2011 and returning by popular demand will be the Attic Art exhibition in January.
