This year’s free Dance in the Square on Bank Holiday Saturday (August 29, organised by the Saffron Walden Initiative, will feature soul and Motown music with The Freddie Hall Band. Freddie’s influences include Nat King Cole and The Temptations (with whom he sang in Orlando) Ray Charles and Van Morrison.
Food, drink and facepainting. Some tables and chairs will be provided. Freddie, who has played twice at the Dance in the Square, returns through popular demand.
7.45pm to 10pm.
