The Countess of Warwick Country Show in Little Easton over the bank holiday weekend, August 27 and 28, includes animal displays, a ploughing match, children’s egg and spoon and sack races, a dog race, tug of war, a ploughing match, sheep dog skills and classic cars. The show is named after the Countess of Warwick who was born at Easton Lodge into the Maynard family.

There will be a Victorian riding display by the horses from Audley End. The animal parade is one of the highlights, with proud owners showing their stock. Look out for the dog racing, it’s guaranteed to make you laugh, as dogs go in all directions. Noon to 5pm each day at Little Easton Church, Manor and Rectory, Park Road, Little Easton,
