Flitch Youth 2 Ravens Youth Flyers 2

FLITCH and Ravens earned a point each in an even game that neither team deserved to lose.

Despite creating a string of early chances, Flitch found themselves a goal down after a momentary lapse in concentration. On the stroke of half time they were back in the game. Jacob Morgan found Harry Bowley who finished with aplomb.

In the second half, Bowley grabbed his second; reacting quickest after the keeper could not hold a Kasib Chowdhury shot.

Ravens responded and a training ground corner brought the scores level.

Flitch Youth 8 Maldon Saints Whites 0

Flitch maintained their unbeaten league record with a one sided victory.

Bull grabbed a quick brace before Callaghan chipped the ball over the keeper to give Flitch a three goal lead at the break.

Callaghan blasted home from close range shortly after the restart to make it 4-0. Long range lobs from Atkinson and Abbott took Flitch to 6-0, before Bull and Callaghan wrapped up their hat tricks.

Rayne Youth 8 Barnston Youth 3

A LATE flurry of goals handed Barnston an unlikely loss.

Barnston Youth were leading 3-2 with 20 minutes left in the game after Sam Duberry and Christian Roles cancelled out Rayne’s goals before Duberry added a second.

The visitors looked to have the better of Rayne but profited from a rebounded and good wing play to take a two goal lead.

Two more late goals completed the rout as Barnston were left wondering what went wrong.

U14

Muddogs 6 Priory 0

A JOSH Fairhurst hat trick aided by strikes from Major, Mercer and Clarke-Holland was enough for the Muddogs to ease past Priory.

Fairhurst got the ball rolling with a low in to the corner before turning provider as Major got on the score sheet.

A quick brace from Fairhurst wrapped up a first half hat trick to take his tally for the season to 40.

Muddogs eased off in the second half and did not fire on all cylinders, although still scored two thanks to Clarke-Holland and Mercer.

Muddogs have now won 18 out of 18 league games and scored 93 goals.
