Saffron Walden Town Football Club's under 13s started their Colts League season with a fine victory at the Aztec tournament on Sunday.
The young bloods won their league group with an impressive unbeaten performance in all of their five games.
They were taken to extra time and a penalty shoot-out by St Ives in the semi-final, but came out on top.
Walden defeated Ellesmere Eagles 2-1in the final to secure their trophies.
The young squad begin their Colts League campaign at home on Sunday at Ridgeons Park.
# Spartak under 13s have started their final preparations for the coming season, but require some additional players to complement their squad.
