GREAT Notley's Rob Troster (above) took a wicket with the first ball of the under 13s NEDCB 20/20 League Division One match at Clacton on Sunday.

Skipper Alex Cromie won the toss and invited the home side to make first use of a dry pitch.

Left-armer Troster then took a wicket with his first and fourth balls leaving Clacton on 5-2 at the end of the first over.

Troster finished with figures of 4-9 from his four overs as the home side were all out for 52 in just 14 overs.

In reply, Great Notley were in trouble on 18-4 after seven overs. This became 30-7, but with plenty of overs remaining a stand of 21 between Oli Morris and Niall Wishart helped see them home by two wickets.
