Fifteen members of Dunmow Triathlon Club turned out to run for the Mid Essex Casuals in the first round of the Mid Essex Cross Country League.
The course was a hilly, five-mile run through the woods at Little Baddow.
Both the ladies and the men's teams performed well, with the ladies coming in fourth place and the men, fifth.
