Walden Triathletes impressed in the first round of the Thetford Mountain Biking Winter Series Challenge
on Sunday.
Held over a 6.5mile course at Santon Downham, which included two tricky bombholes, the competition was full with 500 men and women riding over a two or four hour period to try and complete as many laps as they could fit in.
Paul Whiffen came 70th with four laps completed finishing in a time of 2hr 18min 36sec. Next home was Neil Mummery again with four laps in a time of 2hr 25min 47sec giving him 88th spot.
Charles Dale came home in 101st place again with four laps at a time of 2hr 33min 18sec.
