Teenager Max becomes Essex Schools high jump champion

FELSTED student Max Paulin has become the Essex Schools High Jump Champion 2011.

The 15-year-old made a clearance of 1.93m while representing North West Essex in the Essex Schools Championships at Melbourne Stadium, Chelmsford on Saturday June 11.

The jump is 7cm behind the Felsted’s School record, which has stood since 1990.

Felsted’s head of PE and sports studies Barny Bury said: “Max is an extremely dedicated student athlete. This success is nothing less than he deserves and I am looking forward to supporting his progress next year.”
