Takeley are set to return to Essex Senior League action on Saturday for their first game of the new year as they host Basildon United at Station Road.
Marc Das’ men have been without a fixture since booking their place in the Gordon Brasted Memorial Trophy quarter-final with an 8-1 demolition of Haringey & Waltham on December 21.
That win marked a ninth game unbeaten in all competitions for Takeley and saw striker Charlie Cole hit five goals to take his tally to 30 for the season.
Takeley sit fourth in the league table behind leaders Clapton and Southend Manor in third.
On Tuesday Takeley will again be in home action in the League Challenge Cup once more facing Haringey & Waltham.
