Takeley fell to a first loss in six games going down 2-1 away at Waltham Forest in the Essex Senior League on Saturday.

The hosts went ahead through Jose Agua in the first half.

Player-manager Alex Martin brought himself off the bench with 20 minutes to go and scored an equaliser for the side from Station Road.

However, a last gasp penalty was awarded to Forest and converted by Kubilay Akbayrak to secure all three points.

Takeley remain 16th in the league table.
