Takeley were beaten 4-1 away to Barking on Saturday in the Essex Senior League.

Duncan Easley’s side had taken a 19th minute lead with a Gavin Cockman goal only for the hosts to level soon after through Ben Turner.

Wale Odedoyin put Barking ahead just after half-time and injury time goals from Ryan Creed and Eden Nelson added gloss to the scoreline.

Takeley’s league game with Hullbridge Sports on Saturday has been postponed as Sports are in FA Cup action against Basildon United.
