After 18 years the Cambridgeshire Scratch Division One Shield is in the hands of Saffron Walden Golf Club.
They were presented with the award last Thursday at the biennial Cambridgeshire Golf union dinner.
The shield was presented by Martin Start, President of CAGU, and member of Saffron Walden Golf Club to Graham Goodman, scratch team captain.
The shield was won after a significant victory over Gog Magog Golf club in a winner takes all final match to the season last July.
