Felsted School teachers, pupils and supporters will descend on Allianz Park on Saturday to cheer on the 1st XV at the home of Saracens.
Felsted will be playing Warwick in the last four of the Natwest National Schools Cup at the home of the Premiership giants for a place in the grand final.
Ahead of the game, Andrew Le Chevalier, director of Felsted Rugby, told the Broadcast: “Since our quarter-final win away to Manchester Grammar School, the Felsted 1st XV have been fully focused on the national semi-final and the challenge that lies ahead of them.”
The players have dedicated themselves to preparing properly ahead of the exciting clash.
They completed a fitness programme over the Christmas and half-term holidays as well as attending squad fitness sessions during the week.
Le Chevalier believes this has had more than fitness benefits.
“This has not only kept the guys’ fitness up, but has brought them closer as a team by motivating each other,” he added.
“Alongside the fitness sessions we have managed, with the kind support of Mr Nick Philips, head of hockey, to have squad rugby sessions during the week, which has been vital as we haven’t had the matches to keep us going.
“We are now in the final preparations for the semi-final and we know how important these last few days are.
“I cannot fault the Felsted boys’ efforts; they have been amazing and hopefully their hard work will pay off at the match on Saturday.”
The match kicks-off at 5pm and entrance is free.
