Dunmow Rhodes Tigers won a hard-fought encounter at the Recreation Ground on Sunday to move back to the top of the Blackwater League.
The Tigers looked strong from the outset and continued pressure from the home side eventually led to the breakthrough after 20 minutes, when Orpen crossed for striker Crook to score.
The second half saw Crook increase the Tigers lead after 37 minutes when a misdirected goal- kick landed at his feet, and the striker neatly chipped in.
The Blues were not to be outdone and scored from a breakaway to make the score 2-1.
