Dunmow Rhodes Lions U16s warmed up for Sunday’s Blackwater & Dengie Youth Division Two League Cup final by beating Old Chelmsfordians 3-0 at the weekend.
Rhodes took control of the first half and scored their opener when Adam Griggs found captain Christian Roles in space and he fired in.
After the break man of the match Roles scored his second goal after a good run.
Zak Jagathesan secured a good result for the Lions with another excellent strike to make the final score 3-0.
Sunday’s final takes place at Witham Town FC (3pm).
