Barnston were unlucky to come away with nothing after a battling performance against Metpol Police on Saturday in the Essex Olympian League Division Two.
Barnston had the better of the early exchanges but for the second week running they couldn't put their chances away.
They were punished on the stroke of half-time when George Harle raced down the right wing and shot past the keeper.
Barnston went for the equaliser in the second half, but a dubious penalty allowed Michael Norgorv to double his side's advantage.
Robert Sharp made it three late on to seal the victory.
