Dunmow under 12 Tigers also entered the Tiptree Minors five-a-side with two teams after winning it last year, and the B team went all the way to the final again.
Playing some superb football the team of Jack Taylor, Leon Hayward, Adam Knight, Jamie Antwis, Lewis Hoy and Joe Ryan demolished teams in their group stage with some fine passing and clinical finishing by Lewis Hoy who netted 10 times.
The team headed their group stage and faced their hosts Tiptree in the semi final putting in a great display to defeat them 4-0.
The final was against the same team as they beat last year, Boadicea, and Tigers had the better of the first half going in 1-1, but having all the play. Injuries to Knight and Hoy weakened the team and they eventually lost 2-1.
The A team of Freddie Hill, George Bakker, Dan Watts, Aaron White, Dan Barrington and Charlie Cottrell finished third in their group after going down to the odd goal in the second match despite having all of the play and winning their third with a great goal by Bakker.
