CHARLOTTE King of Grange Farm and Dunmow Runners ran the Brentwood half-marathon on Sunday dressed as a helicopter to raise money for Essex Air Ambulance.
The popular event, in its 29th year, attracted the maximum 2750 entries and followed a 13.2mile undulating course through the countryside around the town.
Of the four participants representing Grange Farm and Dunmow Runners, David Spencer, in 54th position was the fastest in 1hr 27m. He was followed by Simon Burpitt (390th) in 1hr 41min, Lesley Burpitt (1047th) in 1hr 59m and King (1409th) in 2hr 9m, she also raised �350.
