The wet weather put paid to the majority of local cricket matches at the weekend.
High Roding's game at Bentley in the T Rippon Mid-Essex League Premier Division was cancelled on Saturday, as was their seconds Herts & Essex League Division Three home clash with Woodford Wells.
Roding currently sit in fourth spot having taken 139 points from their nine games. The seconds sit second in their league with 172 points from nine games.
This weekend Roding visit Little Baddow, 1.30pm start, while the seconds host Roding Valley, 1.30pm start.
Sunday sees High Roding host Findon, from Sussex, in the National Village Knock-Out Competition, at 2pm.
Rayne's game at South Weald in the T Rippon Mid-Essex League, Division Two was thwarted by the rain with not one ball bowled.
The seconds game with Writtle seconds in division nine, was also called off .
Rayne are currently second bottom with 59 points with the seconds in third spot in their division with 134 points.
On Saturday the first team host Springfield seconds with the seconds visiting Rayleigh thirds.
Thaxted's Ten-17 Herts & Essex Cricket League Division Five game at home to Newport seconds was also cancelled due to the wet weather at the weekend.
Thaxted who are currently in fourth spot with 148 points host Little Hadham on Saturday.
