Walden Tri's Greg Lewis decided to extend his race season by taking a short trip to Ireland to participate in the GAP Quadrathon.
Held on the wild coastline of Donegal last Sunday, this extreme form of multisport racing started with a bike leg, followed by a kayak and swim in the sea and finished with a tough run along the shore.
Competing against international and local athletes, Greg's stunning time of 3hr 53min was good enough to win the GAP trophy and yet another podium finish for the club. This annual event raises funds for the Lifeboat service
Adding to the international flavour, setting out this week for the US, Clare and Pete Thompson represent Great Britain in the World Championship Duathlon (Long Course) which will be held in Richmond, Virginia, on October 21. This is Clare's second appearance in a GB vest this year.
