The home side started the better, first a Sontag header was just too high and then Rick Goldblatt shot wide of the post.
However, he did find the breakthrough minutes later when he got on the end of a cross to fire home from six yards.
Stansted started to press for the equaliser and Jones fired several shots over the bar, before they did find the net on 75 minutes.
A break down the left allowed Sam Mccarthy to cross and Jones was on hand to bundle in the equaliser,
