Grange Farm & Dunmow Runners Andy Smith put in an impressive performance at the Luton Marathon last weekend.
With conditions far from ideal, he managed to battle through the rain, wind and hail to finish his fifth marathon of the year in a time of 3hr 58min 51sec.
For anyone who has just received their London Marathon Entry for 2008, the club organise a gradually increasing series of runs most weekends leading up to the race and also arrange a coach to take runners to the start on the day.
The club meet at the Dourdan Pavilion on Wednesdays at 7.30pm.
