Grange Farm and Dunmow Runners trio claim personal bests

Runners from Grange Farm and Dunmow Runners (GFDR) took part in two marathons, at Chelmsford and Abingdon, on Sunday.
GFDR’s Ashwin Shah and Gerard Geurts joined the 600 runners at Chelmsford.
The 700 runners at Abingdon included Charlotte King and her husband Simon along with Ian Lawson.
For GFDR, Simon King was fastest in 3:27:39, followed by Ian Lawson in 3:31:02 and Charlotte King in 3:53:20, all three runners achieving personal best times.
The race was won by Crispian Bloomfield of Billericay Striders in two hours 37 minutes 14 seconds.
Shah finished 62nd in three hours 23 minutes 30 seconds and Geurts was 85th in three hours 28 minutes 56 seconds.
