High Roding Cricket Club youngsters received awards from former Essex and England captain Graham Gooch at their annual colts presentation evening.
Chairman Paul Welland introduced Gooch to the parents and members, before medals were handed out to all colts to have played this season.
Three main award winners were then announced in each agee group, under-eight, under-nine, under-10, under-11, under-13 and girls.
And there were special awards to players of the year Bella Howarth and Guy Morley-Jacob and a club spokesman said: “Many thanks to Graham who took a lot of time presenting the awards and for being available for photo opportunities after the awards.”
