Dunmow Rhodes will enter their third season in adult football in the Braintree & North Essex Sunday League later this year.
But their journey began 10 years ago in 2010 as Barnston Youth under-10s, when they had the first of three seasons in the Blackwater & Dengie League.
In 2012, they travelled to Galleywood Youth Eagles and dominated from the start with an early goal, after great build-up play involving Alex Clayden, Frank Luckin and Christian Roles.
Sam Duberry fired under the Galleywood keeper and Adam Griggs struck twice more, from a curling corner kick and well-placed penalty.
Jake Lander set up Sam Hockley for the fourth, before the hosts rallied to net a well-taken shot.

Barnston man of the match Frank Luckin headed home from a looping corner to make it 5-1 and Duberry got his second on the stroke of half time.
Roles fired home from Matthew Green’s cross in the second half and Griggs completed his hat-trick in a scramble, before Lander tapped in number nine.
Green and Christian Roles then broke from midfield to set up Dominic Roles to bring up double figures, before Galleywood grabbed a late consolation as Barnston ran out 10-2 winners.
After one more season at Barnston, the team went out as Dunmow Rhodes Lions under-14s and moved to High Easter, where they are still playing today.
*A Special General Meeting between the BNESL Committee and clubs agreed to end the 2019/20 season with all results declared null and void.
No decision was made with regard to cup competitions as clubs await developments as to when the 2020/21 season can start, with the possibility of concluding cups in the early part of the new season.
