Dunmow Rhodes Youth Football Club held a very successful open day at the Recreation Ground on Saturday.

Registration for players and an opportunity for new recruits to meet club officials took place at the Dourdan Pavilion, while a mini-soccer fun tournament open to all players from age six to age 15 continued on the Rec.

In total, 150 budding young footballers had the opportunity to show their skills.

The club was also celebrating a great season in which 12 competitions were won by Rhodes teams, with six sides completing the league and cup double.

Anyone unable to attend on the day but interested in playing, or managing/coaching at any age group in youth football should contact Russ Alexander on 07712 894956.
