Football: Nash points to string of wasted chances as Barnston held to 1-1 draw by Tiptree Jobserve

Barnston picked up another valuable point against Tiptree Jobserve, but boss Luke Nash admitted his side had enough chances to win the game "three times over".
Buoyed by the fantastic win last week against table-toppers Harwich & Parkston, the visitors were eager to build on their recent good form.
But they missed a host of chances and had to settle for the draw.
Nash said: “A point is better than a defeat but we had enough clear chances to win the game three times over.
“Having said that they also looked dangerous on the break.
“A point keeps us above our main rivals, but we need to finish teams off if we are to improve our league position next year.”
The game started in a scrappy fashion with a cross-wind causing it to be mainly played on one side of the pitch.
The first chance fell to Barnston when Charlie Harris beat the defender to the ball and curled a low shot on to a post.
Tiptree tried to play football from the back but struggled to create a clear chance on the Barnston goal.
On the half-hour mark a long free-kick was knocked into the box from Dan Norris. It was cleared only to Kieran Heap, who chested the ball down and volleyed it past the home goalkeeper.
That inspired Tiptree, who shortly after hit the bar before finding an equaliser in the 43rd minute, catching Barnston in the break.
The second half kicked off with Barnston having the advantage of the wind and this helped the visitors.
Chance after chance fell to Barnston but the openings were not taken and the score remained level.
In the best of the chances, Harris had a one on one but hit the goalkeeper, while Ben Barnsley cut the ball back to Heap, who put it wide from only six yards.
The home side responded with a few half chances and also hit the post with a looping header.
Gordon Wilson was introduced as an extra striker and he had an immediate chance but his control deserted him at the vital moment.
Barnston travel to Dedham Old Boys, on Saturday.
