Fine start to year for Great Dunmow Netball Club

Great Dunmow Netball Club have had a good start to 2016 in the Chelmsford and District Netball Leagues.
The Dragons won two of their three games and Phoenix triumphed in three out of six. Both teams are mid-table in their divisions.
Dragons have been busy in cup games and had a good run in the Princes Plate with wins over Maldon 47-36, Conquerors Skye 54-24 and Alderton Lions 48-35.
They were beaten in the quarter finals by KTS Lions 48-41.
The club are looking to compete in the Sudbury Netball tournament this year after picking up runners-up medals last time out.
There will be a presentation at the end of the season and an annual Christmas club get-together.
New members are always welcome, ladies of any age. Training takes place every Wednesday 7.30pm at Great Dunmow Leisure Centre, Helena Romanes School, Dunmow.
