The finals of Saffron Walden Town Bowling Club were played over three days at the weekend.

The club championship was won by John Green in the men's section and Sue Shoebridge in the ladies.

Graeme Brookes won the handicap singles, Dave Mortimer took the novice singles and the club two wood pairs was won by Terry Shoebridge alongside

Roy Tinnelly.

The over 60s John Godfrey Cup was won by Alex Wightman and Jock Anderson while Bob Grout, Alex Wightman and Terry Shoebridge took the club triples.
