Two Felsted School girls’ hockey teams are through to the National quarter-finals of the SMILE Independent Schools Hockey Cup.
Felsted U19 girls triumphed over Alleyns School after a tense game that went to flicks after the game finished 2-2.
A redoubled effort and a skilful final save gave Felsted their 4-3 win which saw them safely through to the final eight.
Felsted U15s followed close behind the very next day, securing their place in the quarters with a skilled win over Worth School.
Head of Felsted Hockey Loren Sherer said: “The girls showed a tremendous amount of character and focus.
“Both teams executed exceptionally well under the pressure and deserved to go through to the national quarter-final.”
