Archant

Five Dunmow Atlantis members proudly represented not only the club but also the county last weekend.

The talented quintet competed in the ASA East Swimming Inter County competition 2016.

The one-day event, held at the UEA Sportspark Norwich, comprised of teams involving a mix of clubs from all over Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.

Selected to swim for Essex from Atlantis were Chloe Moloney, Meghan Maybanks, Jack Richardson, Josh Smith and Rebecca Watt.

All performed admirably, competing predominantly in the relay races.

They were delighted to boost the Essex side and help their county to finish ahead of rivals Hertfordshire and runners-up to Cambridge by only a few points.
