Dunmow got off to a flyer on Sunday with a victory over Burntwood in their opening game in the Chelmsford Invitation League Division Three.

The hosts started strongly and were 2-0 up at half-time, with goals from L Brandum and K Hilts.

Burntwood pushed Forward in the second half, but Dunmow worked hard and the third goal came when Hilts headed home a free-kick.
