Three Dunmow Kyokushinkai Karate students have been selected to represent Great Britain in the World Tournament which is being held in Greece in March.
Kayley Morris, aged 14, and 13-year-old Luke Stubbs will compete in the junior section and Amber Morris, aged 16, will compete in the cadet (over 16)category.
The trio all joined the club whilst at primary school and have already attained a number of England caps.
There has been additional success as the club’s chief instructor Shihan Andrew Turner, 5th Dan was recently nominated for the BBC unsung hero award for his contribution to the local community over the past 30 years.
This year the club celebrates 30 years of existence and during this time Shihan Andrew has welcomed students of all ages and abilities to the club and has coached many to international level.
