A 15-year-old karate ace is in line to represent England at an international tournament in Switzerland this weekend.
Helena Romanes School pupil Isabel Benjamin, from Dunmow Kyokushinkai Karate Club, has been selected to represent England in both the junior kata and clicker sections in the Pilatus Cup tournament in Kriens.
Benjamin, who has represented England at previous tournaments, is on the up in her sport and achieved her 2nd Kyu grading, which is a first brown belt in Kyokushinkai Karate, in December.
Dunmow karate’s chief instructor, Shihan Andrew Turner said he was proud of Isabel for her selection in this tournament.
