Dunmow Ladies Hockey Club had their first league match of the season on Saturday after being promoted to Essex League Division Two and secured a hard-fought draw.
The match started hard with Upminster, who had been relegated from Essex Division One pressing forward. It took Dunmow a few minutes to react, but they soon started moving the ball around well.
Upminster took an early lead, but Dunmow fought back, to eventually earn a share of the spoils in a thrilling 3-3 draw.
