Dunmow II 8 Romford III 2
Dunmow seconds confirmed their top of the league position with a convincing victory over Romford seconds.
Owers scored in the first minute to get the home side off to a great start. Shortly afterwards Farr followed up his own initial short-corner to give Dunmow a 2-0 lead.
However, an uncharacteristic goalkeeping error from Allsup allowed the visitors to get themselves back into the match before the half-time break.

Although short corner specialist Farr converted twice more for his hat-trick in the second half, Dunmow had a scare when Romford scored on the counter attack to keep themselves in the game at 4-2.
However, a 10 minute spell of exhibition hockey from Dunmow saw them blow the opposition away with a second from leading scorer Owers and good finishes from Menhenick Snr, Taylor and the impressive Tomlinson to complete the rout.
