Archant

The pressure was on for Dunmow Atlantis Swimming Club as they competed in the second round of the M11 Junior League last week.

Having finished runners up in the initial round, DASC had much to prove but were fearless, taking on their opponents in typical unflinching style.

The talented youngsters competed in a cross section of events, including the nailbiting final race, the cannon relay, in which they took top spot.

A total of 33 top three places puts Dunmow comfortably in second position, with two legs of the competition left.

Those competing for DASC were: Freya Jackaman, Emily Green, Rose Wilkinson, Maddie Lees, Jack Richardson, Elliot Skingley, Damon Elliot, Aidan Clarkson, Georgia Richardson, Neve Winnington, Eliza Westcott, Jess Jagathesan, Harrison Cox, Jack Rayner, Bertie Warnes, Oliver Smith, Lucy Le Huquet, Holly Smith, Eloise Ansell, Ellie Dinning, Henry Pertwee, Samuel Hayden, Patrick Winnington, Tate Allington, Rebecca Johnson, Millie Westcott, Daisy Herrington, Amy-Rose Ansell, Toby Rayner, Ben James, Dylan Jewiss, Toby Warnes and Oscar Hastings.
