Dunmow Rhodes Youth 3

Dunmow Rhodes Tigers Under 8s came away from a difficult derby game with another fine performance and all the points.

Having not played last week, and with tomorrow's (Friday) invitation to participate in the Colchester United Tournament on everyone's mind, Tigers' attractive passing game took time to materialise on a small and heavy pitch.

However, midway through the first half Wise slotted home the first after a poor defensive clearance and minutes later Williamson converted a low cross to ensure Tigers greater possession and effort saw them go in at half-time 2-0 up.

Despite some good positive play after the restart from Tigers, it was United who scored on the break and set up an anxious last 10 minutes.

Constant pressure on the United goal frustrated the opposition further before Williamson pounced to snatch a third with the final kick of the game and his second, to seal another victory.
