HOLDERS Little Waltham SC are still on course for a repeat Ridley League Darts Cup triumph after surviving a tremendous scrap with Flitch Snooker.
The Dunmow side’s strongest line-up of the season came from two-nil and 3-2 down to force a shoot-out in this repeat of the 2010 final.
With Matt Atkinson and Graham Milbank leading the fightback, they took the match to the deciding leg of the last game before Waltham’s Chapman and Salmon settled it.
Margaretting Black Bull, the 2006 winners, had an equally rough ride at Fryerning. They looked more vulnerable in the absence of star man Les Atkins, but fought like tigers to edge the singles after falling two-nil behind.

Dick Clough and Shane Kochan (Cricketers) made it 3-3, but Nigel Chapman and Tom Kerr took the final game in the third leg.
Carol Hughes (Bull) had a 132 out shot, and Marion Wiley (Cricketers) a 101 start.
