IN THE January fixture of the "Run In Cross-Country League", the Saffron Striders women's team were again in top form with a comprehensive victory. They have won every one of the cross-country races this season. Ros Barker, pictured, finished second, closely followed by team-mates Claire Waters, Clare Parry and Janet Lipski.On the testing, muddy course in Newport, the men's team failed to match the exploits of the women and could only manage third position.
