Takeley enjoyed a perfect start to the Essex Senior League season with a 2-0 away win over Hullbridge Sports on Saturday.
In his first league game in charge of the Station Road side, boss Marc Das saw striker Charlie Cole, a signing from Thurrock, hit a penalty double to secure all three points.
The forward netted a first half spot-kick on 19 minutes after a foul on Jason Todd.
He added his second, again from the spot, on 83 minutes to secure the win after Mitchell Das was upended in the area.
Takeley play their first home game tonight (Tuesday) as they entertain London Bari (kick-off 7.45pm).
